Who is the coolest now?!

Whoooo Hooooooo! I won! I won THE red vintage looking SMEG fridge! You can see the article here on Marie Claire Maison’s site (in french).Huge thanks to Marie Claire Maison staff, they made me very happy! I am already imagining how my future kitchen look like…I will move the vintage sign to the kitchen, it will go perfectly well with the fridge. I’ll make a more industrial and vintage look all in concrete-white-black-grey and red 🙂 Now remains one detail: to find an appartment!!!!Oups! Maybe shall I first get a JOB to be able to rent a flat huh?

Olééééééééé!!!Olllééééééééééé!Youpiiiiiiiiiii!

Aie! :/

I love these kitchens…The presence of Smeg puts undeniably an accent of class.

J’aime beaucoup ces cuisines… La présence de Smeg met indéniablement une touche de classe!

my coolest customized fridge

Hello my dears,

This weekend I was up to customizing my fridge for Marie Claire Maison’s contest. If my fridge wins, I’ll have a SMEG which is my everlasting dream fridge. Plus my fridge is dying, there is water coming out of it because it’s door won’t close properly :(… I can’t afford a new fridge right now! (thus my efforts to customize a dying fridge!) I really really really want to win this!

You could help me by « like »ing it on marie claire maison’s facebook page 🙂

Cross your fingers for me xox

my kitchen/dining finished…almost

Yaay, I finally have something that looks like a kitchen! For this post i only reveal the dining part. Since i begun re-painting the kitchen dresser, i also painted the table which was a classical old blue formica table. I bought the rug from a flea market which i brought to the laundry (of course) and collected some old mirrors.I changed the ugly lights we had before with those classical paper lanterns, and I found the crocheted cloth in Emmaus that i use as a curtain….

The blue closet on the background was supposed to go on the wall on top of the sink as we don’t have any storage in the kitchen. But We will move in 3 months from here, so we decided not to drill more holes. Besides, it made the spot for our cat.

I’ve found this plexi box with 3 compartments, it was thrown out by a cosmetic shop. It fitted perfectly my side table and provides multiple storage, exactly what i needed!

The box wrapped with paper like a gift that you see on the background is Maki’s spot in the kitchen. He likes to be with us when we are dining as though he is participating to our discussions 🙂

I am collecting all kind of prints and paintings with cats. This one on the fridge is quiet kitsch! I like it!

The blue shelve and the top of the side table is the « morning spot » with coffee cups, coffee machine, kettle and the toaster.

The two chairs from 50’s are also found in the street, the other two were in the family garage. I want to replace them by thonets one day.

As i am a big follower and disciple of Emmaus, they know me now and even make me little gifts from time to time if I make a big purchase. This trivet is one of their gifts. I like it although the ceramic is cracked.

our little guest flat in Kas

It’s not that I am a pretentious person, really…but I haven’t seen this small flat since 2 years and now that I am looking at it’s photos, I find it really nice! Worthy enough to put in an interior design blog, am I wrong?

The Tv doesn’t match the rest of the flat but those pictures were made to rent the flat 😉

We’ve taken those pictures 5 years ago when my mother finished the renovations in it…she did the painting of the floors, the tree painting on the small bedroom’s and the flowers on the bigger bedroom’s walls, the mosaics on the top of the coffee table, the kitchen’s wall and the terrace’s sofa with the top of the table.

finished the dresser! yaaay!

Heeey,

I am finally done with the kitchen dresser. I have the finishing of the table left. I’ll do it tonight, and post some pictures here very soon, hopefully.

home alone

Exactly like in the movie Home Alone, I tend to mess up the house completely when i have 36 hours alone at home!

I wanted to finish the painting of the kitchen dresser, plus the formica table plus the 2 chairs. Olivier will be back tomorrow evening, i hope i can clean up everything until he does! ouch, i have too much to do!
